Pierre Thiebaut

Journey

Pierre Thiebaut served as an Architect of the Bâtiments de France and as Chief Architect and Urban Planner of the French State, as well as a lecturer at the École supérieure d'architecture de Paris-La Villette. He is the author and photographer of several books on the integration of architecture, both traditional and contemporary, within the surrounding landscape. These works have been the subject of lectures, notably at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine in Paris and at the Château de Fontainebleau, during the European Heritage Days.

Settled in Sète for about a decade, Pierre Thiebaut created a land art garden open to the public during the JAPO (Open Studio Days).
